Wiki

I went to the Wiki Commons site. Pretty cool that you can find all types of images and use them for public use. I browsed around the images section. Searched around for pictures, loved the images of art. My favorite is the nature section. Had beautiful pictures of flowers, snow, scenery, and water. I didn't know that this was even available to use. I now have place to go and download photos to use for different things, I think this is a great site!

I went to the audio section. I have done presentations before and needed certain sounds; waves, nature or just instrumental music. It is great that I have somewhere to go. There are many options for sound and audio files.

The other Wiki site that I went to was Wiki Species. Interesting that polar bears are the species of the week! So cool! Anyway, you can use any picture that you want if you are looking for different animals. This would be great for a science class if you were looking for a certain species. It also has other categories, fungi, plants, and other things.
