Geotagging

Somehow this one slipped away from me! This is so cool! I always have used Kodak (Ofoto) before now and i am going to try and slowly transfer my photos to Flickr. So neat that you can put your photos on a map and share with friends!

I added some photos. One is from my mom and her twin sister's 60th birthday party at Lake Tahoma - our family lake house. (mom is going to love me displaying her age!) Another picture is I went with Hoke last year in Kindergarten to Baa Moo Farm in Olin, NC. It is in the middle of nowhere but really cool. The kids can interact with the animals and farm life. The group photo of my running group is a Valentine's Day Marathon Relay in Greensboro. It was freezing that day about 19 degrees when we started... BRRR! The other few photos of running was the half marathon I did in Morehead City, NC in February.

The video on TED is just amazing! He talks about the program Photosynth. You can synchronize and see panoramic views of photos together, in order that they were taken. How far has technology come! All the photos of one building can be used in one place targeting in on one specific image, hard to believe something can do this!
